Wash Day | Trim and Length check

Hi lovelies,
How are you all doing? It's a new week and I'm looking forward to a lot of things. Some of which I talked about in the previous post. I'd be away for three weeks (not totally though, kindly bear with me. Would be back in no time.

I mentioned in this post that I would be washing my hair weekly and that's what I have been doing for the past 5weeks. I have been doing more of co-washing though. Anyways, it was my wash day few days ago and this was how it went down.

First, I did a Deep conditioning treatment and Protein treatment. Just because I wanted to avoid what happened in this post where I mentioned I had a protein overload, I decided to mix a moisturising and protein conditioner together this time using Beautiful textures Rapid repair Deep conditioner and Tropic Isle living Black Castor oil Protein conditioner. I covered my hair with a plastic bag for 2hours. And the result was lovely and it saved time (Instead of doing it separately). I think I would be doing this occasionally.
During wash
After deep conditioning, I shampooed my hair with African Naturaslitas shampoo. Then conditioned with African Naturaslitas conditioner (Detangled my hair) before proceeding to rinsing my hair with Apple cider Vinegar. After wash, I applied Cantu shea butter leave in (see review here) and Dark and lovely corrective leave in conditioner on my hair. I also sealed with castor oil and coconut oil before putting my hair in twists. Hair was soft and moisturised. And my wash day was complete

Hair in twist
Trimmed out hair
The last time I had a trim was before this post on my Two year hairversary and it's been over 4months alredy. So I had another trim and also did a length check which I'm really happy about.
